We had a great time exploring the classic hutong area around the hostel. It was a bit challenging to find at first, as there was no English name outside, but once we arrived, the location was perfect. The hostel also had a relaxing courtyard, ideal for unwinding after a day of sightseeing. The staff members we interacted with were nice and helpful, providing us with useful guides for our adventures. I would recommend this hostel for its convenient location and pleasant atmosphere.
While the hostel had many positives, there were a few drawbacks worth mentioning. The hot water in the shower shut off automatically in our room, making it a bit inconvenient.

Great location near Tiananmen Square and metro station. Polite and English-speaking staff. Laundry service available. Close to tourist attractions. Affordable shopping options nearby. Authentic Chinese experience. Good offer for Great Wall trips.
Nothing to mention.

Stayed at this hostel for a few nights with my partner and son. Great location in the old city, close to major attractions like Tiananmen Sq and the Forbidden City. Authentic Chinese experience with local street food and restaurants right outside. Beds were the comfiest I found in China. Good breakfast across the street. English-speaking staff. Heating worked well. Good value for money. Would stay again.
Would recommend this hotel.

The location is very central, at the end of a tourist attraction, and close to a metro station. You can easily walk to the main square and other areas of interest. The hostel provides towels, shower gel, bag storage, and has functioning electricity, lights. Additionally, there are several local restaurants and a supermarket nearby.
The room can be cramped and difficult to navigate, especially for families or larger groups.
